SUMMARY:In-Person Information Session: How to Get RainWise
DESCRIPTION:Learn how you can get a rebate for a cistern and/or rain garden to reduce pollution! \n\n\n\nThis in-person information session is for homeowners in RainWise-eligible basins throughout Seattle who are interested in learning more about the RainWise program and rebates. You will learn: \n\n\n\n\nabout the stormwater problem\,\n\n\n\nabout the solutions we’re using to solve it\, and\n\n\n\nhow you can help and get a rebate of up to 100% of the cost on cisterns and/or rain gardens.\n\n\n\n\nWe’ll cover the rebate process\, selecting a contractor\, and you’ll have a chance to ask questions. Then\, you’ll have a chance to possibly talk with RainWise contractors about your future project! \n\n\n\nRainWise rebates combat pollution. With every storm\, rain carries pollutants off our roofs\, driveways and other hard surfaces to local creeks\, Lake Washington and Puget Sound. Rain gardens and cisterns can help control this stormwater\, but we need your help! In selected areas of Seattle\, the City of Seattle and King County will pay up to 100 percent of the cost of installing rain gardens and cisterns on homeowners’ properties. \n\n\n\nWe recommend that you check your eligibility for a RainWise rebate in advance on our eligibility page.
