Partnership Programs Both the City of Seattle and King County are committed to supporting nature-based solutions and projects for a healthier future. Below is a list of programs to support projects on private and public properties throughout the city. RainWise Rebate Program The RainWise Program provides rebates that cover most or all of the cost of installing cisterns and/or rain gardens on your property. To receive a rebate, you must be in an eligible combined sewer overflow (CSO) basin and work with a RainWise-trained contractor. RainWise Program RainCity Partnerships Seattle Public Utilities is excited to announce the new RainCity Partnerships program! Build community while treating more runoff from large businesses, apartments, and community hubs. RainCity Partnerships GSI Mini Grants Green Stormwater Infrastructure Mini Grants provides GSI project funding for landowners within the King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) service area who are not eligible for other incentive programs. GSI Mini Grants WaterWorks Grant Program The WaterWorks Grant Program provides approximately $5 million in funding every two years to organizations carrying out a variety of water quality improvement projects in the service area for King County’s regional wastewater system. WaterWorks Grant Program RainScapes Program The RainScapes program partners with properties in unincorporated King County to fund and install GSI features, like rain gardens, cisterns, and native plant landscaping, on their property.
