Barton Roadside Rain Gardens
This award-winning project features 15 blocks of roadside rain gardens (bioretention swales) that drain to underground injection control wells and manage runoff from about 32 acres. This project captures and infiltrates about 13 million gallons of runoff annually, helping prevent CSOs into Puget Sound.
