This webinar is for homeowners in RainWise-eligible basins throughout Seattle who are interested in learning more about the RainWise program and rebates. At this webinar, you will learn about the stormwater problem, the solutions we’re using to solve it, and how you can help and get a rebate of up to 100% of the cost of cisterns and/or rain gardens. After a short presentation and Q&A with RainWise staff, you will meet with different RainWise contractors and have the chance to ask questions specific to your homes. With every storm, rain carries pollutants off our roofs, driveways and other hard surfaces to local creeks, Lake Washington and Puget Sound. Rain gardens and cisterns can help control this stormwater, but we need your help! In selected areas of Seattle, the City of Seattle and King County will pay up to 100 percent of the cost of installing rain gardens and cisterns on homeowners’ properties.
